Well cut, round diamonds of "J" color face white and look wonderful in any type of material, including platinum and gold. Fancy shapes or poor cuts, however, may begin to show the slightest bit of yellow in this color grade. "J" is the final color located in the "Near Coloress" band.

VVS diamonds (which stands for "Very Very Slightly Included") have inclusions that can only be seen using a microscope. VVS diamonds are very rare and require gemological equipment to locate the tiny imperfections. Often times VVS diamonds are purchased for cultural reasons, where the "clarity" is synonomous with "purity".
